Alvvays unveil two new songs ‘Belinda Says’ and ‘Very On-line Man’

Alvvays are set to launch the follow-up to their 2017 LP Antisocialites with Blue Rev October 7. Immediately, the band has unveiled two extra tracks from the forthcoming file with “Belinda Says” and “Very On-line Man”.

“Belinda Say,” an homage to pop icon Belinda Carlisle, leans closely on an 80s vibe. “Very On-line Man” is a synth-driven quantity that arrives accompanied by a pixelated video geared toward these bothersome Reply Guys.

“Two new lambs for the cultural volcano! Yet another candy slurp of alcopop devoted to the ladies wiping tables known as ‘Belinda Says’ and the dial-up digital dream ‘Very On-line Man.,’” the band stated in a launch. “We directed a mosaic-mode vid for ‘V.O.G.’ with our videoguru buddy Colby. This was simply the funnest factor we’ve ever shot. Get pleasure from our clunky low-bit collage of aliased key clacking and step-dance scramble in your CRTs.”
